Carlton Nettleton, is an international speaker, trainer, consultant and thought-leader on Scrum and Agile software development from from San Diego County, California. He has over sixteen years of experience working side-by-side with his clients to unlock human potential to drive sustainable growth using Scrum and Agile. He is the author of the book, Fourteen Observations of Good Scrum Practice, and the co-creator of CSP Fast Pass (www.cspfastpass.com).
Carlton got his start in Agile software development with Extreme Programming (XP) over fifteen years ago and has never looked back. While his primary passion today remains with implementing Scrum, Carlton has never forgotten those early lessons of continuous attention to quality and always strive to do the simplest possible thing that could work.
Carlton graduated from Boston College and has a master’s degree in Geophysics from San Diego State University. He has been a Certified ScrumMaster® since 2005, a Certified Scrum Trainer® since 2011. Carlton is bilingual in English and Spanish and lives in Lisbon with his family and his dog, Riley.
